In accordance with the BCFIRB approved BCMMB Election Rules, Information Packages were emailed earlier today to all producers by the Independent Elections Officer (IEO). Included in the email package is the BCMMB 2021 Official Election Rules, a Board Member Nomination Form and a Producer Election Timeline. The IEO for the BCMMB Election is the BC Council of Marketing Boards (Della Oberhoffner).
THE BCMMB will now manage the list of Voting Producers rather than the Independent Elections Officer (IEO). It is more efficient and effective for the Milk Board to manage the list directly. The Milk Board is requesting all producers to complete and return a Voting Producer form to the Milk Board. The Milk Board will be reaching out to all farms that have no Voting Producer on file to ensure maximum participation in this election. Producers operating as partnerships or corporations must submit their Voting Producer Registration Forms as soon as possible to the BC Milk Marketing Board, but no later than 10 am, October 21, 2021.
Please note: If your farm is a sole proprietorship, this form does not apply as the Voting Producer is automatically the same as the sole proprietor that the Milk Board has on file.

Future potential Board candidates for the election: please be sure that your Nomination Form has the signatures of at least five (5) Licensed Producers. Nomination Forms must be returned to the IEO at office@bccoga.ca no later than 4:30 pm PDT, October 12, 2021.
