2020 BCMMB Election
The following producers have been nominated to run in this year’s Board Election:
- Tom Hoogendoorn
- Jeremy Wiebe
- Paul Schmidt
Voting Producers representing licensed dairy producers as at September 28th, 2020 are eligible to vote in the 2020 BCMMB Election. Only one ballot can be cast per IRMA Number. The BCMMB maintains a list of Voting Producers for 2020 that are eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
Distribution of Voting Packages:
The Independent Election Officer (IEO) will distribute via regular mail and electronically Voting Packages on or before October 23rd, 2020 which will include: instructions for completing the voting ballot, biographies of nominees, election ballots, ballot envelopes and return envelopes.
To vote online:
An eligible Voting Producer, following the instructions provided in the email, must mark on the electronic ballot his/her choice of up to two candidates and submit the ballot as instructed.
Deadline for On-line Ballots – must be SUBMITTED no later than 4:30 pm PST, November 24th, 2020. Please note that if you do not submit your vote by this date/time it will not be counted.
To vote by mail:
An eligible Voting Producer must mark clearly on the ballot his/her choice of up to two candidates and place the ballot in the small ballot envelope and mail it to the IEO. Be sure to follow the instructions provided.
Deadline for Paper Ballots – must be RECEIVED by mail no later than 4:30 pm PST, November 24th, 2020. Please note ballots received after this date will not be counted.
Please note there is NO IN-PERSON voting at the AGM this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
