The Board has received the following update today from the Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) regarding the planned compensation for dairy producers as a result of market access commitments made under recent international trade agreements.
The CDC advised that as of January 9th, 86% of BC producers had received their DDPP compensation payment. However there still remain some producers who have not yet been paid the compensation to which they are entitled.
1) If you registered by the December 13, 2019 deadline and have NOT yet received your cheque:
Please send an email to info.direct.p@cdc-ccl.gc.ca; OR if you do not have access to email, please call: 1-877-246-4682. When you do, please give the following information: name, phone number where you can be reached, province, producer number; OR anti-phishing verification number. Then, the CDC will contact you to rectify the situation.
2) If you registered AFTER the December 13, 2019 deadline and have NOT yet received your cheque:
Please give the CDC approximately two weeks to process your registration, and then follow-up at the email address or phone number in 1) above.
3) If you have NOT YET registered at all for the DDPP program, we would encourage you to do so.
The Registration form is available at: https://application.cdc-ccl.gc.ca/ddpp-ppdpl
