The BC Milk Marketing Board (BC Milk) began a producer consultation during the spring producer meetings held in April 2022 and by notice posted on the website on May 6, 2022. Please refer to the notice for more details.

The Board has made the following changes regarding how BC Milk collects administrative levies from producers effective August 1, 2022:

  • Eliminated the administrative Levy of $0.40/hl on fluid milk ($0.16/hl on all-milk) deducted from the producer pool and added it to the current producer administrative levy collected as a deduction on the producer statement
  • Increased the producer administrative Levy by $0.09/hl on all-milk production on the producer statement

These changes will result in the producer administrative levy being $0.50/hl on all-milk production.
